Eid al-Fitr to be declared a non-working day

The Ministry of Labour, Employment and Social Protection of the Republic of Tatarstan informs about the following.
In accordance with the Law 1448-XII of 19 February 1992 Holidays and commemorative dates in the Republic of Tatarstan, Eid al-Fitr is declared to be a non-working day (holiday).
This year, the beginning of Eid al-Fitr holiday falls on 5 July in conformity with the Decree of the President of the Republic of Tatarstan № 525 of 11 June 2016 “About the Eid al-Fitr and Eid al-Adha holiday dates”.
The length of working-day on 4 July 2016, a pre-holiday day, will be cut by 1 hour in compliance with Article 95 of the Labor Code of the Russian Federation. 5 July 2016 is a non-working day (holiday).
