River motorship cruise along Volga

150 people have today started on 7 – day cruise on the route Kazan – Volgograd – Kazan on four-decker river motorship “F.I.Panferov”. There are 16 veterans of the Great Patriotic war among the participants of the cruise, 3 participants of battle of Stalingrad, workers on home front, activists of veteran organizations, cadets of Kazan cadet schools. The Minister of Labour, Employment and Social Protection of the Republic of Tatarstan Elmira Zaripova came to the riverside station to see them off.

As announced by the head of the delegation, Deputy Minister of Labour, Employment and Social Protection of the Republic of Tatarstan Yuliya Abdreeva, such river cruises have been organized for the veterans of the Great Patriotic war annually for the last 10 years. The delegation will visit such cities as Saratov, Samara, Tolyatti. There will be meetings with veterans organized on each stop of the route and a concert of Tatarstan artists in Volgograd.
