Patriotic education in Nizhnekamsk

A special event for children has been recently held in Nizhnekamsk Social Assistance Centre for Family and Children in the frames of the Republican Programme “Patriotic Education of Young People in the Republic of Tatarstan”.
The event was coincided with the memorable date – the Day of the Victory of Russian fleet under the command of Pavel Nakhimov over Turkish navy near Cape Sinop that is celebrated on Decemder 1.
The agenda of the event included guessing games organized to check the knowledge of Russian state symbols. The social teachers pointed out that knowledge of Russian state symbols determines the respect for the native land.

In order to organize systematic work to support various categories of Fatherland defenders, participants in heroic events, as well as to perpetuate the memory of servicemen and law enforcement officials who died in the performance of military and official duty, a public project of the Volga Federal District “Heroes of the Fatherland” was held.
