Incidents report: 9 health and safety incidents on the factory floor in Tatarstan

Ministry of  Labor, Employment and Social protection keeps on reporting about people injured in industrial accidents on the factory floor in Tatarstan. According to the data of the State Labour Inspectorate, 9 health and safety incidents were registered to occur on the factory floor in Tatarstan over the period from 29 September to 3 October.

26 September, the first fatal case was registered at Rukon enterprise in Kazan. Loading the materials on the scaffolding the worker fell down from 12 meters to his death.

29 September, the high rigger of OOO Project – Construction Company - 14 fell down in the lift shaft dismantling the framework of the lift shaft. The case occurred at the construction site of Housing and Retail Complex in Naberezhnye Chelny.

The next day the tractor operator of OOO Set ile died in the road accident near the village Shakhmaykino in Novosheshminsky raion.

26 September, the first serious industrial accident occurred at OAO Srednevolzhsksel – electrosetstroy in Kazan. An electrician got an electrical shock changing out a defective overhead ground-wire cable.

30 September, the lift with the worker inside fell down. As a result, the employee of OOO Alyans – service got a whiplash injury. The accident occurred at the construction site of multistorey apartment house in Naberezhnye Chelny.

The same day, the operator of ZAO Essen Production AG got multiple face and body burns caused by the caustic liquor emission while loading caustic soda into the flushing system. The accident occurred in the village of Nizhnesuksinskoye in Tukayevskiy raion.

1 October, the veterinary physician was tossed by the bull and got a leg injury. The accident occurred at OOO Mayak in Baltasinskyi raion.

The same day, the worker of OAO KamAZ casting and mechanical plant slipped going down the straight ladder in a foundry shop, fell down and got a whiplash injury. The accident occurred in Naberezhnye Chelny.

2 October, the driver of Maintenance depot Kukmorskiy lost his balance and fell down from the auto body. As a consequence, the worker got a brain concussion and a whiplash injury. The accident occurred at OAO Tatavtodor in Kazan.

No group cases were registered over the reporting period.

All the cases are under the investigation at the moment.
