30 August – The Day of the Republic of Tatarstan declared to be a holiday

The Ministry of Labour, Employment and Social protection informs.

In accordance with the Law 1448-XII of 19 February 1992 “Holidays and commemorative dates” 30 August – The Day of the Republic of Tatarstan is declared to be a non-working day (holiday).

This year, a non-working day 30 August falls on a weekend day. In accordance with Article 112 of the Labour Code of the Russian Federation, a non-working day (holiday) falling on a weekend day is pushed forward on the first working day. Therefore a weekend day from 30 August is pushed forward on Monday, 1 September.
