Protection of children against violence and cruelty in Nizhnekamsk

In the frame of work on protection of children against violence and cruelty the psychologist of Nizhnekamsk Social Service Centre Vesta O.Fedotova held a methodological meeting devoted to sexual integrity of children. 28 specialists took part in the meeting.

The participants were advised of statistics regarding the rate of increase of violence against children in Tatarstan in particular and in Russia at large and discussed the current risks of sexual integrity of children. The psychologist as well gave the recommendations on sexual integrity of children, measures to prevent violence, advised how parents should forster the skills of safe behavior and establish trust-based relations in families.

For future reference, the participants were as well distributed informational booklets.
