Zelenodolsk social centre Rodnik holds special events coincided with the 69th Anniversary of the Victory day

Zelenodolsk social centre Rodnik held several special events coincided with the 69th anniversary of the Victory in the Great Patriotic War. Among them was the meeting with children from families at risk with senior people. The children played a visit to the veteran of the Great Patriotic War Galina Kiseleva. She fought in the Battles for Kursk, Orel, Belorussia. During the war-time she was a stenographer. Throughout 1944 – 1945 she fought in the Battle for Europe. She happened to celebrate the Victory Day in Berlin. The children listened to the stories with profound interest and asked questions about the war-time.

Today, another patriotic event titled St.George Ribbon was held in the streets of Zelenodolsk. The specialists of the social cenre together with children of the centre Volunteer were given the ribbons in the busy streets of Zelenodolsk and near the Park of Victory.

Besides, Zelenodolsk social centre Rodnik in cooperation with penal inspection organized an excursion to the Park of Victory. The specialists of the social centre Rodnik together with the participants of the club Vozrozhdeniye came to unbonnet to died soldiers, visited the Walk of Memory were obelisks with inscribed names of the fellow countrymen are installed. There is as well the outdoor exhibition of military equipment located in the Park. The teenagers discovered the history of their native town and its citizens who worked hard to win the war.
