Jobless level in Tatarstan goes down

According to statistics, there were 18 287 people registered as unemployed with the government employment service as of 25 March (132 people less than as of the last week).

In total 729 people were recognized as unemployed over the reporting period. Among them, 399 people left their jobs of their own will, 40 people – by reason of liquidation of organization or staff reduction.

It has to be noted that the unemployment level as a whole is not so high: there are only little more than 18 000 of unemployed people from amongst 2 mln. 42 thous. of economically active population.
