A career fair for jobless people was held today in Khimikov Cultural centre in Kazan. Senior citizens were also welcome to participate in the event. HR Department specialists of 70 companies suggested 4580 openings mostly on working professions. 23 enterprises offered 1480 open jobs for retired persons.

The fair was held with the participation of the representative of social entity Russian Pensioner Union (regional office in Tatarstan).

1450 visitors were consulted by the job centre specialists on the issues of employment, labour, state guaranties, social protection, assistance programs for unemployed people with disability, youth employment programmes such as Youth Practical Training and First Job. 45 people passed special tests.

The candidates had the opportunity to use information stands and electronic vacancy register that contains 20 159 open jobs and special newspapers Job Today, 1000 Vacancies, Urgent Vacancy. 225 people including 40 pensioners got job referrals.
