“Gaile” holds the seminar on patriotic education of young people

A tutorial workshop on forms and methods of work within the frame of implementation of the Program “Patriotic education of youth in the Republic of Tatarstan for 2011 – 2013 years” was held in the republican information and methodological centre “Gaile”.

Anastasia Smirnova, a specialist in social work presented a comparison study of patriotic education in Russia and foreign countries. Enndzhe Burakova, the head of the research department reported about an extramural patriotic educational quiz “Kazan utlary” organized among children from residential institutions for minors. The purpose of the quiz was to expand a worldview of minors developing their cognitive interest in cultural and spiritual life of Tatarstan and its culture.

The participants of the seminar discussed also the questions of inter-agency cooperation in solving problems of patriotic education and intermediate results of the Programm realization.
