Tatarstan - Kaliningrad: Relay volunteerism continues

Volunteers from Tatarstan and Kaliningrad will jointly develop volunteerism in Russia. In Kaliningrad, the first outside of Tatarstan Regional Development Centre "Volunteer” will appear. This instruction was given by the organizers and participants of the voluntary seminar which will be held from 19 to 20 October in the Kaliningrad region.

Kaliningrad is not accidentally chosen to host the event. For more than a year in the Kaliningrad region works the representation of Interregional organization "Volunteer." Volunteers froim Kaliningrad repeatedly came to Yelabuga to share experiences, participate in the training project "Inter-Regional Academy of Social Management." It was during these trips the idea of ​​establishing a center in Kaliningrad of volunteering came to life.

In order for this plan was implemented, was carried enormous preparatory work. Partner in the project is the Ministry of Social Protection of the Kaliningrad region, a workshop with the support of the Fund The Bearr Trust (UK), the grant of which this year won the Inter-regional organization "Volunteer." Seminar will be held by the team of trainers from Development Center "Volunteer."

During the seminar will form a team of new Volunteer Centre, to identify the main areas of activity. It is expected that created Regional Development Centre "Volunteer", within a year or two years will organize the example of Tatarstan in the Kaliningrad network of municipal volunteer centers, attract significant resources to help socially vulnerable categories of citizens.
