Participants in the "Relay of memory" collected signatures in gratitude for organizing the project

As a result of the joint visit of the veterans and young people from Tatarstan under the "Relay of memory", the participants gathered signatures to thank the President of the Republic of Tatarstan.

On arrival in Kazan Republican Veterans Council (retired) sent to Rustam Minnikhanov, the President of Tatarstan, the letter reflected the main results achieved in terms of military-patriotic education of youth during the trip. The chairman Khabir Ishtiryakov summarizes: "The trip exceeded all our expectations!"

Participants in the "Relay of memory" are sincerely grateful for the opportunity to "touch so many people, again to the heroic and at the same time tragic pages of our history, and young people, which is very important, imbued with a deep respect for the courage and heroism of the defenders of the Fatherland,"- he said in the letter. The oral gratitude veterans and youth sured with the signatures.

This event was held under the patronage of the President of Tatarstan, was organized in preparation for the celebration of 70th anniversary of Victory Day and the 25th anniversary of the public organization of veterans (retired) of the Republic of Tatarstan. The main purpose of the trip is the military-patriotic and moral education of young people. 360 persons participated in the trip.

Such a large-scale tour, opening vast opportunities for the education of young people, was organized for the first time.

The representatives of all municipalities of the country took place in the trip. Students from 10-11 grade secondary schools, cadet classes, members of search teams, the students of primary and secondary vocational education, university students were accompanied by veterans in all scheduled activities. During the visit, members of the war, home front workers, widows of war veterans, along with their young friends visited a number of attractions of the Hero City, including Central Museum of the Great Patriotic War on Poklonnaya Hill.
