In Kazan the representatives of Russia's regions will discuss issues of accessible environment for disabled people

All-Russian Society of Disabled Persons (VOI) from 17 till 21 of September holds two nationwide activities related to the implementation of the Federal government program "Accessible Environment 2011-2015" in Kazan.
At the place it coordinates by the Tatar Republican organization VOI. On September 17 will be All-Russian Conference "State program" Accessible Environment ": the experience of the pilot regions and the prospect of forming a barrier-free environment in Russia." It will focus on the experience of creating an accessible built environment for disabled people and others with limited mobility in the regions of the Russian Federation. Special attention will be paid to the results of work in this field in Tatarstan and Saratov region, which are "beginners" in the program.
From 18 to 21 September there will be a seminar "Monitoring access facilities for people with limited mobility." Its main task is to prepare experts to survey the availability of social and other infrastructure for the disabled. After participating in the training sessions to reinforce your knowledge the workshops that will take place on the social, sporting and cultural facilities in Kazan are planned to the participants.
In order to organize systematic work to support various categories of Fatherland defenders, participants in heroic events, as well as to perpetuate the memory of servicemen and law enforcement officials who died in the performance of military and official duty, a public project of the Volga Federal District “Heroes of the Fatherland” was held.
A new Inclusive Game Park was opened in Kazan on December 15. It was built by the joint efforts of the Government of the Republic of Tatarstan, Kazan Administration, the Coca-Cola System in Russia and the Naked Heart Foundation.
