"Victory Train" will go to Moscow on August 24

From 24 to 26 August the  delegation of veterans and youth of the Republic of Tatarstan will go in Moscow. The trip will take place in preparation for the celebration of 70th anniversary of Victory Day and the 25th anniversary of the public organization of veterans (retired) of the Republic of Tatarstan. Singing the songs of the war years the composition of 9 cars will carry our compatriots in the capital city for sightseeing.

The main purpose of the trip - the military-patriotic and moral education of young people. 360 persons will take part in the trip. The ratio between the number of veterans and young people is almost 50/50, which will maximize the possibility of communication between people of different generations.

Such a large-scale tour, which opens wide prospects for the education of young people, organized for the first time.

On the trip will bring together representatives of all municipalities of the country. Students grades 10-11 secondary schools, cadet classes, members of search teams, the students of primary and secondary education, colleges and universities will accompany veterans on all scheduled events during the trip.

 During the visit, members of the war, home front workers, widows of war veterans with their young friends visit a number of attractions of the Hero City, including Central Museum of the Great Patriotic War on the Hill of Respectful Salutation.

Organizers are confident that this visit spiritually enrich both sides, allowing the veterans to share their knowledge and experience with the younger generation, young people - to join the historical-spiritual heritage. During various excursions there will be an opportunity to see the sights of Russia through different eyes for young people: to hear accounts of the events of 70 years ago from the veterans’ own lips, about the hardships of the time, the great feat of the people, about the true heroes.
