Another meeting with clients of Leninogorsk Complex Social Service Centre coincided with All-Russian Day of Sobriety was recently organized by Alexandra Lavrentyeva, specialist in social work of the Centre.
"Alcoholism is a serious chronic illness. It develops on the basis of regular and prolonged use of alcohol and is characterized by a special pathological condition of the body: an uncontrolled attraction to alcohol, a change in the degree of its tolerance and degradation of the person", the specialist told the recipients of social services.
At the end of the lesson, the attendees watched a video on the topic.
