Third Chess and Checker Tournament among social shelters opened in Naberezhnye Chelny
6 September, 1018, the Third Chess and Checker Tournament was opened in Naberezhnye Chelny. The event was held within the frames of the War – Patriotic Camp “Robinzon” on the territory of the recreation center "Berezhok" in Naberezhnye Chelny. The Tournament was traditionally held among fosterlings of the republican social institutions for children.
Among participants of the event were children from nine teams of social shelters for minors that came from several municipal districts of Mendeleevsk, Agryz, Menzelinsk, Zelenodolsk, Pestretsy, Saby, Bavly, Alekseevsk and Bugulma. The best in the "chess" discipline was Anton Tarasov from the social shelter "Kamsky Zori" of the Mendeleevsk municipal district, the children of the social shelter "Shatlyk" of the Pestrechinsky municipal district - Andrei Kuzmin and Raushan Kurbangaleev - shared the second and third places.
