“We Want to Live in Peace!” Drawings Competition in Leninogorsk

September 3 is the Day of Solidarity in the Fight against Terrorism in Russia. This day is dedicated to the tragic events in Beslan, where the school No. 1 was captured by terrorists on 1-3 of September, 2004. Coincided with this date a drawings competition for children held under slogan “We Want to Live in Peace!” was organized in Lenonogorsk municipal district last week.

Among participants of the event were children from vulnerable, needy and multi-child families. According to specialists in social work with children, on this day, we remember the victims of terrorist attacks and honor those who have died in the line of duty.
