Anti-terror evacuation drill in Ministry of Labour, Employment and Social Protection of Tatarstan
Emergency evacuation drill for building stuff has been held today in the Ministry of Labour, Employment and Social Protection of the Republic of Tatarstan in the frames of anti-terrorist month campaign traditionally held in September in the Republic of Tatarstan.
The purpose and the objectives of the fire evacuation drill included identifying any weaknesses in the evacuation strategy as well as familiarizing new occupants with procedures.
It should be noted that the Ministry stuff evacuated following the safety instructions: switched off electrical equipment, closed doors and windows, took away documents and personals.
According to supervising fire-fighting service officer, throughout the drill the responsible person and nominated observers should pay particular attention to: use of the nearest available escape routes as opposed to common circulation routes, inappropriate actions such as stopping to collect personal items and attempting to use lifts, windows and doors not being closed as people leave.
