How to make a paper flower craft – a workshop for children in Tyulyachi
A paper craft master-class for children – clients of the Complex Social service Centre has been given today by specialist in social work of the Social Assistance Department in municipal district of Tyulyachi. The event attracted five children with disabilities.
According to specialists, crafting help disable children to improve their personality. Children learn new and different things which may lead to conversation with someone about what new thing they have learned. When a project is finished, it makes them feel proud of their accomplishment which builds their self esteem.
Along the way children learn self control and that they don't always have to get angry if they have to correct something they're working on. It gives them a chance to show other people that they too have talents of their own. If in a group, this gives them the opportunity to share their talents with the others and help those who are having a rougher time at it.
