Clients of Izgelek Rehabilitation Centre study war history of Russia

Clients of the Rehabilitation Centre for People with Disabilities took part in lesson on history, devoted to the 75-th Anniversary of Victory in the Great Patriotic war that was recently held in Naberezhnye Chelny.

Participants of the event remembered memorable dates of war history of Russia. They learned that the military history of the modern-day Russian Federation has antecedents involving the Mongol invasion of the early 13th century, Russia's numerous wars against Turkey, against Poland, Lithuania and Sweden, the Seven Years' War, France, and the Crimean War of 1853–1856. The 20th century saw two World wars and the Cold War.

The lesson was attended by 35 clients of the Centre.
