Fisherman's Day in Yelabuga municipal district

Every first Sunday in July Russian people celebrate Fishermen‘s Day in honour of the brave people who have worked hard to support fishing industry in our country. The holiday was introduced in Russia in 1980.

Several festive events coincided with the Fishermen‘s Day were organized last week in the residential care facility for senior citizens and people with disabilities. One of them was held in open air. Clients of the care home were offered to take part in quiz show and answer the questions about fishing tools and accessories, fish species and fish courses.
