Today, on the eve of Day of defenders of Fatherland, in Elabuga students-volunteers of the voluntary organization "Aelita" entering into Voluntary movement "Volunteer", have congratulated the most young and most elderly townspeople. Children have carried out celebratory actions in children's home and in the house-boarding school for aged and invalids.
For older persons, many of which are participants and invalids of the Great Patriotic War, children have organized the present concert. The same day volunteers "Aelita" have spent the competitive program in children's home. Students have sung for children of a song in Russian, Tatar and udmurt languages, have danced incendiary Tatar dance, have spent relay race.
In order to organize systematic work to support various categories of Fatherland defenders, participants in heroic events, as well as to perpetuate the memory of servicemen and law enforcement officials who died in the performance of military and official duty, a public project of the Volga Federal District “Heroes of the Fatherland” was held.
