A new equipment will be delivered to the Elabuzhsky rehabilitation center "Astra" for children – invalids

In the end of February a new equipment in cost of 150 thousand roubles will be delivered to the Elabuzhsky rehabilitation center "Aster" for children and teenagers with the limited possibilities of health. The ophthalmologic equipment for correction of visual impairment and a dynamic parapodium for movement of children with disorders of the musculoskeletal system will appear in the center thanks to the victory of Elabuga in the competition «City of equal possibilities».
Let's note, initiators and organizers of competition are the Fund of support of children who are in a difficult life situation, and Association of small and average cities of Russia. The competition is spent with a view of creation of the greatest possible conditions for improvement of children-invalids’ lives. In total 128 cities have taken part in the competition from 52 subjects of the Russian Federation. Elabuga has won the first place in a nomination «City with the population up to 100 thousand people».
Let's remind, the rehabilitation center "Astra" functions in Elabuga with 2006. Here children-invalids pass medical and socially-psychological rehabilitation. For 2011 in the center 222 children with the limited possibilities of health have passed improvement. "Astra" is a dynamically developing establishment: employees of the center with an enviable constancy raise the qualification, the list of the rehabilitation equipment replenishes. So, except other in the center the underwater shower-massage, a suit for children with a children's cerebral paralysis "Atlant" are used.
The new equipment will allow to improve the results of conditions of children’s rehabilitation.
