Fire Evacuation Drill at “April” Rehabilitation Centre for Children with Disabilities

Regular fire evacuation drill has been recently held in “April” Rehabilitation Centre for Children with Disabilities in Kazan. The purpose and the objectives of the fire evacuation drill included identifying any weaknesses in the evacuation strategy as well as familiarizing new occupants with procedures.

Among participants of the evacuation drill were clients of the Rehabilitation Center as well as the stuff.

According to supervising fire-fighting service officer, throughout the drill the responsible person and nominated observers should pay particular attention to: use of the nearest available escape routes as opposed to common circulation routes, inappropriate actions such as stopping to collect personal items and attempting to use lifts, windows and doors not being closed as people leave.
