9 May 2018 – Victory Day – a National holiday in Russia

Ministry of Labour, Employment and Social Protection of the Republic of Tatarstan informs about the following. In accordance with Article 112 of the Labour Code of the Russian Federation, the 9th of May – Victory Day is declared to be nonworking day (holiday).

In keeping with Article 95 of the Labour Code of the Russian Federation, the length of the working day or shift directly preceding a public holiday shall be reduced by one hour.

Consequently, the length of the working day on 8 May 2018 will be cut by one hour.
