Within the limits of a model of early intervention republic social services have assisted almost to 1500 children-invalids

      Tatarstan has successfully introduced a model of early intervention on support of children of early age with infringements of development and the limited possibilities.
      Comprehension of necessity of rendering of early support to a child with infringement in development and to his parents became the basic idea of the given model. The earlier this family will receive this help, the above its chances to remain, and to the child not to get to an orphaned establishment. Target audience of the model of early intervention are children with the limited possibilities of the first 3 years of life, their parents, pregnant women of group of medical-social risk, including people, having pathologies in development of fetus. The early help allows to compensate more effectively its infringements and by that to warn or prevent from development of secondary deviations.
      For three years of work social services render their help almost to 1500 children with deviations in development, to 500 pregnant women of group of medical-social risk. As practice has shown, all children, participating in the program, have positive dynamics in development of the basic impellent, cognitive and communicative skills. One of the main conditions of the model is active participation of parents in this rehabilitation process. All of them had studied all elements of techniques of physiotherapy exercises, dialogue and speech development, sensory-integrative games.
      Within the limits of the program 692 children, including 522 with the limited possibilities have received services in the rehabilitation centers for children and teenagers. 692 parents have been trained skills of work with children-invalids. 99 families, in which 110 children of early age with physical inability or risk of its formation are brought up, and 85 pregnant women of group of medical-social risk are at present patronized. Their socially-legal and psychological support is also carried out.
