Collegium meeting of Ministry of Labour, Employment and Social Protection of the Republic of Tatarstan devoted to results of 2017 and challenges for 2018 has been held today within the walls of the Federal Antimonopoly Service Training Centre.
The meeting was chaired by Elmira Zaripova, Minister of Labour, Employment and Social Protection of the Republic of Tatarstan. In her report the Minister pointed out primary targets of the incoming year. In particular, employment of 50% of disabled people of active working age by 2020. According to statistics, as of today there are 37,5% disabled residents of Tatarstan are in employ.
Having considered the leading position of the Republic of Tatarstan among other territorial subjects of Volga Region, the collegium identified specific goals, the achievement of which should contribute to improvement of the quality of life of its citizens. For the moment, Tatarstan ranks second in standard of wages and salaries (the first place went to Perm Krai). In 2017 average monthly income increased by 6,3% in comparison to 2016 and amounted to 31 563,7 rubles.
