Swimming Championship among Senior Citizens in Kazan Water Sports Arena

Senior athletes of Zelenodolsk municipal district took part in an annual Swimming Championship among Senior Citizens that was held in the capital of Tatarstan – Kazan last week. According to specialists, entering the golden years and beyond, seniors have consistently proven that retirement is not a static experience, but one in which they can continue to enrich themselves in various ways.

Specialists of social service institutions point out that most people as they get older want to keep in touch with society – their community, friends, and neighbours – and being active can ensure they keep doing that.
