Republican Action Strategy for Senior Citizen

30 October 2017, Monday

1-2 November 2017, a visiting session of the State Duma Committee on Labor, Social Policy and Veterans Affairs will be held in the capital of the Republic of Tatarstan Kazan. On these days a regular meeting of the Committee on Social Policy of the State Council of Tatarstan will be held. The meetings will be devoted to Republican Action Strategy for Senior Citizen implemented in the Republic of Tatarstan. Parliamentarians will be welcomed to discuss the results of active aging plans and programs, and Tatarstan is expected to share positive experience of the above mentioned age-friendly strategy.

Among participants of the meetings will be specialists in social service of the Ministry of Labour, Employment and Social Protection of Tatarstan, Pension Fund of the Russian Federation, Social Insurance Fund of the Russian Federation.

The agenda of the meeting includes round-table discussions, press-conferences and excursions.
