“We can do it together!” Social Project in Tatarstan

Several meetings of Guardian Council of social shelters for minors in municipal districts of Alkeyevo and Aksubayevo were held last week. The meetings were held with participation of Juliya Abdreyeva, Deputy Minister of Labour, Employment and Social Protection of the Republic of Tatarstan.

According the specialists, the main aim of the social shelter is to support and improve conditions of social participation and inclusion for young people, especially for those coming from vulnerable social groups. The shelter provides accommodation for minors and more specifically children who are victims of negligence, abuse and trafficking as well as children in danger due to familial, social and/or financial circumstances. The aim is to immediately provide shelter, food, education & recreation and to explore suitable and permanent solutions for the care of the children.
