Alcoholism and family/marital problems discussed in Kukmor Complex Social Service Center

Regular meeting with families at risk registered on social patronage in the Complex Social Service Center in Kukmor municipal district was held yesterday by specialists in social work. The meeting was held under slogan “My Health in my Heands”. The meeting was coincided with the World Temperance Day annually observed on 3 October worldwide. According to specialists of the Centre, the aim of such meetings was to promote healthy lifestyle and stop obsessive habits.

According to Rustem Sabirzyanov, therapist for alcoholics or drug abusers, alcohol can be an addictive substance, not everyone who consumes alcohol will become addicted. However, certain people may be more susceptible to addiction.
