Results of Republican Social Project “We can do it together” discussed in Bugulma

An offsite meeting of the guardian council of the social shelter for minors was recently organized in Bugulma Municipal district. The meeting was held with participation of Tatyana Larionova, Deputy Chairman of the State Council of the Republic of Tatarstan and Elmira Zaripova, Minister of Labour, Employemnt and Social Protection of the Republic of Tatarstan.

The agenda of the meeting included, among others, discussions of preliminary results of Republican Social Project “We can do it together” implemented in social service institutions for children in Tatarstan.

“The shelter is an open and friendly institution that will offer temporary shelter, food, care, schooling and learning activities to children at risk. Besides children that live and work on the streets the project addresses abandoned children or children at risk of abandonment, children with parents deprived of parental rights, children that are abused in their family, children with behavioral problems or children at risk. Each child will benefit from psycho-pedagogical counseling and an individualized re-socialization plan with the involvement of a social assistant, a pedagogue and a psychologist, food, clothing, medicine, nursing”, said Natalya Akhmedova, director of the shelter.
