Meeting of Republican Public Organization of Veterans

Elmira Zaripova, the Minister of Labour, Employment and Social Protection of the Republic of Tatarstan took part in regular meeting of the Republican Public Organization of Veterans that was ceremoniously held in Kazan. Among the participants of the meeting were veterans of the Great Patriotic war – residents of Kazan, workers on home front, former young prisoners of Nazi consentration camps, Leningrad blockade survivors.
According to tradition the veterans were presented with food baskets sponsored by one of republican food retailer. It should be noted that the charitable action is used to be organized in the Republic of Tatarstan annually.

In order to organize systematic work to support various categories of Fatherland defenders, participants in heroic events, as well as to perpetuate the memory of servicemen and law enforcement officials who died in the performance of military and official duty, a public project of the Volga Federal District “Heroes of the Fatherland” was held.
