Clients of Chistopol residential care facility appear among winners of Cross Country Skiing Championship

Three-person  team of sportsmen – young people with disabilities – clients of the residential care facility for senior citizens and people with disabilities of Chistopol municipal district took part in Cross Country Skiing Championship among people with disabilities that is annually held in the Republic of Tatarstan. This time the Competition took place in the town of Mamadyish.

In total there were 10 teams from across the Republic of Tatarstan that came to take part in the Championship. Men had to cover a distance of 3 kilometers, women – 2 kilometers, a single distance was organized for wheelchair users.

Among the winners that got on the podium appeared to be sportsmen from Chistopol: Anatoly Silantyev became the third among wheelchair competitors, AydarSafin – the forth. Roman Dryakhlyikh joined 10 top-rank racing skiers with disabilities.
