4 893 First Baby Benefits granted since January 2018 in Tatarstan

Territorial Social Security Offices throughout the Republic of Tatarstan keep on accepting claims for the First Baby Benefit - social safety net mechanism introduced by Russian President Vladimir Putin since 1 January 2018. As of 16 September 2018, 4 025  residents of Tatarstan were granted First Baby Benefit.

First Baby Benefit for mothers in Tatarstan amounts to 8 490 rubles per month in current year. The amount of the benefit equals level of the subsistence minimum for child set for the first quarter of 2017 in the Republic of Tatarstan.
