If you don’t go to museum, museum goes to you

An unusual event dedicated to the International Day of Older Persons was held at the residential care facility for senior citizens and people with disabilities in municipal district of Alkeyevo. During this year, the residents of the institution were among frequent guests of number of museums located in different municipal districts of the Republic of Tatarstan, but this time the museum “came” to them. The staff of the museum named after SM. Lisenkova located in Bazaar Mataki village visited senior citizens at their home. Maria Platonova - museum director, told about the history of the cultural monument, demonstrated some exhibits: birch bark, irons, lamps – all the items that our grandmothers used when they were young.
