30 August – The Day of Republic of Tatarstan and Kurban Bayram declared to be holidays

Ministry of Labour, Employment and Social protection of the Republic of Tatarstan announces the following.

In accordance with the Law of the Republic of Tatarstan 1448-XII of 19 February 1992 “About holidays and commemorative dates”, 30 August – The Day of the Republic of Tatarstan and Kurban Bayram is declared to be a non-working days (holidays) in the Republic of Tatarstan.

Following Article 95 of the Labour Code of the Russian Federation, the length of the working day or shift directly preceding a public holiday shall be reduced by one hour. So that this year, 21 and 30 August 2018 declared to be non-working days (holidays), the length of the working day on 20 and 29 August are cut by one hour.
