International Women's Day declared to be a non-work day (holiday)

The Ministry of Labour, Employment and Social Protection of the Republic of Tatarstan informs about the following. In accordance with Article 112 of the Labour Code of the Russian Federation, the 8th of March - International Women's Day is declared to be a non-work day (holiday).

In compliance of the Decree of the Government of the Russian Federation № 1250 from 14 October 2017 “About staggering of holidays in 2018” the following non-working days will be substituted:

-from 6 January, Sunday to 9 March, Friday.

The length of the working day falling on 7 March 2017 will be reduced by one hour in accordance with Article 95 of the Labour Code of the Russian Federation stating that the length of the working day or shift directly preceding a public holiday shall be reduced by one hour.

In summary, in 2018 at enterprises and organizations with “five-day week with two days-off” working regime, 8, 9 10 and 11 March will be non-working days (holidays).
