Republic of Tatarstan to pay First Child Benefit from federal budget resources

Republic of Tatarstan recently received the first tranche from federal budget in amount of 3,3 million rubles to ensure Child Benefit paid for the first child born or adopted by family since 1 January 2018.
The First Child Benefit was introduced by Russian President Vladimir Putin since 1 January 2018 with the aim to support couples in their decision to have more children and help to lighten the financial costs of raising children. The First Child Benefit for Tatarstan mothers set for 2018 amounts to 8490 rubles. It equals child’s minimum subsistence level set in II quarter 2017 in Tatarstan.
