Exhibition of handicrafts made by people with disabilities – members of hobby club for needlewomen in Mendeleyevsk municipal district

Exhibition of handicrafts made by people with disabilities – members of hobby club for needlewomen has been opened today in Administration Office of Mendeleyevsk municipal district. The event is coincided with International Day of Disabled Persons. Among participants of the event were clients of the Complex Social Service Centre – senior citizens and people with disabilities that featured in an exhibition more than 50 handicrafts made with their own hands. According to organizers of the exhibition, the aim of the event was to support creativity of senior citizens and encourage going in for a hobby using their free time profitably.

Visitors of the exhibition were impressed with variety of handwork techniques – embroidery, knitting, decoupage, soft toy and many others.
